Jaye van Dussen  graduated from Colorado State University where she received a degree in business. She later went to art school in England at the University of Hertfordshire and also studied at Montserrat College of Art. She loves color and pattern and lives in a brightly painted home in Marblehead, MA with her husband and teenage daughter. Her older son is away at college. A young soul in a middle aged body, Jaye affectionately calls herself a late-bloomer and delights in a world seen from new perspective after a series of events presented her with new choices. She works with a nonprofit in Gloucester, MA and enjoys being outside whenever possible. She also is a student of Toltec wisdom.

The designs on many of the good karma cards are prints of original collages made from paper that Jaye has made or transformed in some way. Often, this paper has been generated and recycled from her previous work.
